Jack Pyke Hunter Boots

In 2015 I was very lucky and became sponsored by Jack Pyke and they supplied me with my fishing clothing which has been worn relentlessly since. The clothing is aimed at the field sports fraternity but I have found it to be excellent and just what I need on the bank to keep me warm and dry.

I’ve just parted company with my Fieldman Boots after 5 years of wear and tear, they have been excellent and have lasted many days and hours in all weather and performed superbly. Glenn sent me a new pair which I have just started to use this month and are featured in the pictures.

The Hunter Boots are exactly the same apart from being one lace toggle higher up the leg providing a little more support around the ankle.

The Spec:

They are built with high rubber rand for all-terrain protection, full grain leather and using the Vibram trek rubber sole. The padded tongue and heel provide a lot of comfort and 200gms Thinsulate insulation will keep your feet warm when you go fishing, hiking, trekking or hunting. To make sure your feet stay nice and dry they have used a hydroguard membrane ensuring the boots are waterproof and breathable. The boots also feature a speed lace system.

This is an excellent choice for an all-round fishing boot and will last years, they come in UK sizes 6-12, retail at £155 and I highly recommend them.
